This week the Year 2's, 3's and 4's have been learning all about fossils. The Year 2's have been looking at fossils as part of their dinosaurs topic work, and Starlings class have been looking at them as part of their science unit on rocks and soils. The children used the fossils to learn how to make observational line drawings and oil pastel drawings. They also created models of fossils using plaster of Paris and shells. Their artwork will be up on display in school in the coming few weeks.
