...very well! The vegetables in our gardening area are doing extremely well while we've all been relaxing on our summer holidays. It is a little unfortunate that the school summer holidays fall during a time when many home-grown fruit and vegetables need picking! I picked ten very large cucumbers, 4 large courgettes and a good handful of beans! However, our gardening efforts will not all be in aid of stocking up my fridge, as we have pumpkins and butternut squashes well on the way which we can pick in Autumn. I'm looking forward to next years gardening efforts, start planning what you'd like to grow!
