As part of our Topic work on the Stone Age, Swallows measured out how big one of the stones from Stonehenge was and then we compared it with the height of our tallest and smallest child. We were amazed at how big they were!

Pilgrims Quest
Before Easter the children in Starlings class went on a 'Pilgrims Quest' at Worcester Cathedral. They learnt about what it means to be a pilgrim and about the Worcester pilgrim. It was a fantastic day!
History Detectives!
Today the children in Starlings class looked at Roman artefacts loaned from Hartlebury Museum, deciding what the artefacts were and what it tells us about the Romans. The children enjoyed quessing which artefact was actually from a Roman burial site in Worcestershire! (the hob nails). Great detective work!

West Mercia Tag Rugby Competition
Year 5 and 6 had a fabulous day out playing in this great event at Carolians Rugby Club on Thursday 26th March against many other schools in the area. We took a squad of 11 players and we played our hearts out. We were so pleased when we came third in our group and then we went on to do really well in the afternoon.
A great day of rugby was had by all!
